Postpartum Depression

Not many people know about the struggle I had to face a few years ago when Alex was only 5 at the time and I was still married to his dad. The time was rough since my ex was working offshore and I was basically the only parent at home. One day Alex tells me I was going to have sex with his dad when he got home and I was going to get pregnant and it was going to be a girl. Being the type of person I was that was quick to respond, I actually took my time to answer Alex. I didn't get mad or upset but I took my time to answer. I told him if I got pregnant then he wouldn't be the baby any more. So he tells me I couldn't have sex any more. I told him that he couldn't watch Family guy any more.
A couple of months later I was rushed to the hospital in the worse pain ever. Once I arrived at the hospital the first thing the triage nurse did was give me a pregnancy test. I knew there was no way I could have been pregnant but I was given one any ways. The test came back positive. I started crying immediately. I was then taken to ultrasound where it was determined that I was 6 almost 7 weeks pregnant and I was bleeding heavily on the inside. Apparently I was pregnant in my right tubes and it had exploded causing me horrible pain. I was forced to have emergency surgery right then and there.
I never got to know the sex of the baby that I was pregnant with. Alex still insists that it was a girl. A week after losing the baby he (Alex) told me that she came and told him bye. I became depressed shortly afterwards. I never received the care that I needed when losing a child. To this day I rarely talk about it. That child would have been about 8 now if she would have survived.
I was told by the doctor that I can still get pregnant if I wanted to.

Finish this sentence: Life is to short to…

Life is too short to be worrying about the things that we can not change. We do not know how long each one of us have left on this planet and we should make the best of it that we can. Live life to the fullest and have fun no matter what. Life like today is your last day.

Love the ones that love you back and the hell with the ones that don't. Don't let negative people around you at all, even if they are family. Be around people who are positive and will lift you up. Be around people that will laugh with you and at you. Laughing is contagious and everyone should be doing it.

What was the last game you played?

The last game I have played is called Rummi, sometimes referred to as RummiKube. I was introduced to this game by an old friend. This game was a little hard at first to understand but once I got started, then I got used to it. It can be hard depending on your opponent. I mostly play against others so I have learned his style and can pretty much determine his next move.
If you are playing the "Easy" then you will need to have at least a total of 24 in order to place anything on the table. You can do this in any fashion, it can be either three of one number or the numbers must be in consecutive order (1, 2, 3 or 7, 8, 9) but the tiles must be the same color. There are only four different colors; red, black, yellow and green and the tiles are numbered 1-13. There are even two jokers (sometimes look like a smiley face).
The joker can be used in place of a missing number and sometimes missing color. There are many different ways to use the joker so it is up to you. Just don't get caught with the joker in your hands. They are worth 30 (maybe 50)  points by themselves. Either way it goes whoever has used their last tile on the board is the winner regardless of how many tiles the opponent has left.

This is a thinking game and may cause an overload in thinking. Now that I know how to play this game I love playing it but I normally just wait to play against friends. If I can find other players to play against it would be nice but I love my game buddy. <3

Audience

I am in week three of my online English class and this weeks topic is about Audience. When writing a blog or even a paper for that matter, the writer must think about the audience that will be reading that paper or blog. Most blogs already know ahead of time who their audience is or the intended audience is supposed to be. But what happens when a different audience reads your blog? Will it help your blog or hurt it?
Audience-Pixabay

What are some things to consider when writing. I know that when I am writing my school papers that my audience is the teacher and my other classmates. So I know what I write should be beneficial to them.

Also when writing a person must be careful and not use bias words. Bias words have a tendency to hurt some blogs/people by the way the article is written. Below is a list of biased and unbiased words. The list of words came from this site here:  http://www.writeexpress.com/bias.html(Links to an external site.)

BiasedUnbiased
businessmanbusinessperson
chairmanchair, chairperson, head
clergymanmember of the clergy, minister, pastor
Congressmanmember of Congress, legislator, representative
firemanfirefighter
foremansupervisor
mailmanletter carrier, mail carrier, postal worker
mankindhumankind, humans, people
manpowerPersonnel, staff
policemanpolice officer
salesmansalesperson
stewardessflight attendant
waitress/waiterserver
The most important thing to remember is to avoid being racial bias. You never want to stereotype anyone for any reason. This includes blatantly derogatory statements, such as racial slurs because they are unacceptable in any writing.

Music-Avicii

I am new to this artist but oh my his voice is wonderful. The message in his music is mind blowing. Avicii is just his stage name but his real name is Tim Bergling and he is a Swedish DJ,  remixer, and record producer. Avicii was ranked 3rd on DJ Magazine‍‍ '‍s annual Top 100 DJs in 2012 and 2013 and has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award, once for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and once for his song "Levels" in 2013.

Avicii-Wake me up

Wake me up is about a girl that doesn't feel like she is in the right place so she feels unwanted. Towards the end of the video she finds where she needs be or where she belongs. It's amazing how music can feel some sort of way.

Another great song is Hey Brother. Listen to it below:

How do you balance life, work, family, and fun?

People in today's world live a very hectic life no matter what they have going on. Even the most laid back type of person, such as myself, still live a hectic life and needs some guidance every once in awhile. Within the last few months I have found myself needing to plan everything I do rather its for my personal life, family, work (writing), school and even some fun. I find that using a calendar actually works wonders and it helps in the long run. The only thing I hate is over scheduling. This happens when I don't have my calendar with me when I end up making another schedule of something that is just as important. I did however find a great calendar that I like to use. You can find that calendar here. There are hundreds more calendar templates online that you can find that will fit your needs. All you have to do is either Google or Bing Search Calendars.

I am sure you can even find a suitable Calendar app for your mobile devices or even for your computer. You can even have these sync up with each other so that way you will always know what is going on while away from home.
