May is a busy month for holidays

Today just kicked off the month of May and it's one of the busiest months of the year. There are many different things to celebrate this month. I wonder if it's actually possible to celebrate every single thing.

Did you know that May is Date your mate month? If you are in a relationship then this is the month to spend time with that mate of yours. You don't even have to leave the house in order to have a date. Stay home and watch movies together. Since it is warmer now why not go for a walk under the stars. My favorite is having a bonfire and just snuggle together. Of course, you can still go eat at that restaurant that just opened that you have been dying to try. The possibilities are endless for this.

May is also the time for great barbecue since it is also National barbecue month. Get your bike out of storage and get ready to ride it for National Bike Month during May. It's a great way to get fresh air and some exercise before summer gets here.

Other national holidays for May are:
  • Foster Care Month
  • National Blood Pressure Month
  • National Hamburger Month
  • National Photograph Month
  • National Recommitment Month
  • National Salad Month
  • Older Americans Month
