My Cat Keke had her Kittens

Keke
I was busy cleaning the bathroom when Alex came running in the bathroom telling me something was wrong on the porch and to hurry up and come see. I see my mom was sitting on the porch on the ground so I thought something had happened to her. Further inspection I saw she was sitting in front of the box on the porch that the cats sleep in. Keke was in the box in distress. I immediately told Alex to grab me some gloves and my camera. I got into position and started assisting Keke with her delivery. I rubbed on her tummy to help keep her calm. I assume rubbing her tummy helped ease the pain.

Three of the kittens
The first kitten born was a boy. He is the orange/red and white kitten on the bottom. The second kitten born was the little calico kitten. For those that don't know it's the one that is multi-colored. Almost all calico kittens are girls. So this one is a girl. The third kitten is shown above it mostly orange/red colored. It's hard to see if he has any other colors on him. Yes, it's another boy.

This is the fourth Kitten
The fourth kitten was born with Alex and I knowing about it. Alex had jumped in the tub to take a bath and washed his hair. I guess this little girl didn't want an audience when she was coming into this world. She is more of a black tabby looking kitten and is the darkest one out of all five.

Keke and all five Kittens
If you close to the left of Keke's paw you can see the fifth kitten that was born. In this picture, he is still a little wet from the birth. Keke has her other four kittens on the other side of her paw.

Keke and her babies
This is Keke and all of her newborn kittens. My dog NuNu, who is a pit bull, wanted to see the new arrivals and my mom was scared to let him see. I, of course, knew that NuNu wouldn't do anything, so I let him see the new babies and Keke. All NuNu wanted to do was lick (kiss) every single one of them. He even kissed Keke. NuNu is happy he has some new playmates. Now he just has to wait until they are old enough to play with.
