NuNu and the Soccer Ball

NuNu
I personally like to think I have one of the best dogs in the world. He is the brightest dog I have ever met as well. He doesn't think he is a dog, but he thinks he is a baby and that he is just as human as you and I. He loves to play, he really loves playing with his best buddy Alex. When Alex isn't around he has me to play with and I always try to get him tired while we are playing.

Today we played with a soccer ball that Alex left in the living room. I simply rolled it into the hallway and NuNu knew exactly what I wanted him to do. He started barking at it and nudging it with his nose. I grabbed my camera and started recording. At one point, I even picked the ball up to show him but he kept running from the ball and was barking from around the corner. He is too cute when he does that.

HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA DOG TREATS

I normally just go out and just by my dogs, Dog-treats from the stores. But I noticed the last time how sick they had gotten after eaten them. So I wanted to try something different and something that is better for them. So I looked online and I found this recipe and not only did my dogs love this but my Cats did too.

Ingredients:
1 banana, peeled
1 cup Oat-Flour
2/3 cup Rolled oats
1/2 cup Dried-parsley
3 tablespoons Peanut-Butter
1 egg beaten

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300°F. Put the banana in a large bowl and use a spoon or potato masher to mash it thoroughly. Add oat flour, oats, parsley, peanut butter and egg and stir well to combine. Set aside for 5 minutes.

Roll mixture into 24 balls, using about 1 tablespoon dough for each; transfer to a large parchment paper-lined baking sheet as done. Use the back of a spoon or the heel of your hand to press each ball into a (1 1/2- to 2-inch) coin. Bake until firm and deep golden brown on the bottom, 40 to 45 minutes. Set aside to let cool completely.

Storage note: It's best to store these in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Or, freeze them to give to your pal later; just be sure to thaw the treats before handing them out.

These will look like Cookies when they are done. So make sure your Kids and your Parents don't try to eat these. Both my son and my mom ate one without me knowing about it and they both told me that my cookies were nasty. I had to tell them, yeah they are nasty because it's not for humans it's for the dogs. So I had to laugh at them. Too bad I didn't catch them eating it or I would have taken a picture of them doing so.

My son and dog

Not a day goes by that either my son nor my dog doesn't do something that is totally funny!
Alex and his birthday cake.
NuNu
They are always together, just like best friends!!! NuNu gets depressed when his buddy Alex isn't around. When Alex is around they are always in the same room together.
